Our customer is a well-known service testing laboratory in Cambodia that inspects and provides certification for companies across various industries.
Challenge
The service testing lab requires a huge amount of chemicals for various testing purposes. Due to limited shelf life and the condition of the facility, the chemicals cannot be stored in their laboratory. Hence, they need their supplier to support with annual stock and deliver to them regularly at their request.
Moreover, their chemicals must fit certain requirements and, preferably, be supplied by a specific brand in order to maintain accurate testing results.
Another challenge faced by the customer is that the price of chemicals can change from time to time, depending on the availability of raw materials.
Approach
We engaged the customer with one of our well-known suppliers who licensed the chemicals to be safe for their usage purpose. To maintain the cost effectiveness of the supplies, we offered the chemicals at a fixed price package for annual or monthly stock.
We regularly check the chemical inventory and make sure to always have ready stock on hand so we can immediately deliver to the customer whenever they are running low or have an urgent need for chemicals in their daily testing.
To extend the quality of our delivery, we ensure the chemicals are always well-packaged and that our staff provide exemplary service by helping the customer move the packages, check packages, and keep track of the delivered chemicals by providing tracking reports.
Result
The customer has been very satisfied with the year-round availability of the chemical products at fixed pricing. Their urgent request for chemicals is attended to immediately by our highly responsive customer service team, ensuring there is no disruption in their daily operation. They also get regular updates regarding the stock figure for easy tracking and occasionally receive new samples of chemicals for them to try or test.
